Takin' Care of Business

Well, the snow has started falling and MCPS is out for the rest of the week. So, we won't be meeting tomorrow morning. But, we do need to take care of a little business. We will be going to the St. Patty's Day Walk at Brookside Gardens on Wed., March 17th. But, we need to reserve space on Feb, 16th. (Which, as you can figure out, is before our next meeting.) So, if you are planning on going, then please leave a comment including your name and the number of participating children you will be bringing. It will be $3/child for a craft and snack. Please don't RSVP unless you are definitely planning on coming. We will collect money at our next meeting on Feb. 24th.

In the meantime, get out and enjoy the snow with the kiddos. We would love to see what you are doing with your time in all these snow storms, whether inside or out. Take lots of pictures and send one or two to derwoodmops@gmail.com with the subject "snow picture" and we will add them in another post. We can't wait to see what everyone is doing!

  1. Anna - 2 kids. Except I read that it's for kids ages 2-6 and Jake is 7...are they strict about the ages?

  3. If they have to be 2, then we're out...if they aren't strict on the age policy can someone post that?

  4. I can not find information about how strict they are. But, I assume that the age restriction is more of a suggestion for who would enjoy it the most. I took my daughter last year and she was just a little over a year old. If, they are probably not going to do a craft and get a snack, then you wouldn't need to pay for them. Just bring them along and hang out. If they are older than six, I would still pay for them since they will be probably eating the snack and participating in the craft. All that to say, I do not think they are strict about the ages.
